In this second installment of the No Match for Love series, we meet Andi Harmon. If you’ve read the first book, you’ll remember Andi is the girl who helps Luke with his plan to win Brooke’s love. Andi is a lawyer, who is getting burnt out from her job and is dealing with the breakup with her ex Marc. Andi’s life is soon turned in a positive direction when her high-school friend/dance partner Ben moves back to town. Ben moves across the hall from Andi in her apartment building and the two begin to reconnect and spend time together teaching dance to kids. Sparks ignite between Andi and Ben when they realize the true feelings they’ve had for each other all along. However, their relationship is complicated with the disapproval of Rachel, Ben’s sister and Andi best friend, along with Andi’s fake showmance with Luke Ryder, and the reappearance of Ben’s ex-fiancée, Whitney.

I was glad the author explored Andi in Now Your Match, after reading the first volume I was curious what happened to her and I was happy to read more about her in this installment. I loved Andi’s character, she had a warm personality and was a sweetheart, and she wanted to do something worthwhile in her life by helping others, instead of handling divorce cases. Andi’s good nature showed when she agreed to help Luke win over Brooke and when she and Ben started teaching dance for her friend’s charity program.

As for Ben, I liked him with Andi and I was rooting for them to confess their feelings to each other. I liked Ben’s backstory with his girlfriend, Whitney, who suffered from bipolar disorder. I loved how the author handled the issue of writing about Whitney and the pain Ben felt in trying to help her, yet she refused his help. Reading about Ben, you feel bad for what he and Whitney have gone through. I liked how Ben struggled with his guilt over Whitney, even though their relationship was over, he still felt a need to help her.

My one critique with the book is the ending, I didn’t like the way it wrapped up, especially with the way one character was treated. I would’ve liked an epilogue, where it explained what happened to everyone and showed that they got their happy ending.

This is the prequel to Miss Match, the first book in the No Match for Love series. Brooke and Luke, who you meet in Miss Match are the focus of Meet Your Match. The prequel goes back to their high school days when the two meet and become friends.

Brooke's the new girl at school and she has trouble fitting in, yet she quickly becomes friends with her the quirky Zoey (whose also in Meet Your Match). Brooke catches the eye of Luke, who upon meeting her shows an interest in her, but Brooke shrugs him off because she thinks he's a jock whose after every girl in school. As time progresses, Brooke starts spending time with Luke and opening up about her parents' divorce and her dad's new girlfriend. Luke is there to comfort Brooke and even though his feelings for her are romantic, he doesn't want to do anything to mess up their friendship.

I thought this was a cute story to show fans of the series what Brooke and Luke were like in high school and how their friendship developed. In the story, you can see that their personalities are much like it is in Miss Match. I loved how the author included a scene with Luke and his father to show the bond they shared and why Luke had a tough time in Miss Match. I also liked how she explored the problems Brooke had with her family, especially with her father.

Overall, Meet Your Match was a great story with a better glimpse into Brooke and Luke's history. Reading the book will make you fall in love with them again.

This cute, romance story revolves around Luke and Brooke, who've been friends for eight years. Luke's been in love with Brooke since high school, yet her friendship rules keeps him from acting on his feelings. Luke becomes CEO of his family's communications company following his father's death, his grief, his drinking, and his out of control behavior lands him in the tabloids and causes concern for the board. Brooke is there to help Luke, but her friendship with Luke also makes her tabloid fodder and causes strain with her fiancée Antonio. With his job on the line and Brooke's impending wedding to Antonio, Luke sets out to change his life and win the women he loves. Luke gets his chance when Brooke enlists his help in saving her matchmaking company Toujour, as the two work together Luke starts breaking their friendship rules and Brooke's feelings for Luke start to grow and she wonders if she's meant to be with him.

Luke and Brooke is a couple I was rooting for from the beginning of the story, I loved reading about their history in high school and whenever they spent time together, my heart fluttered because they were so cute together. At first, Luke was a turnoff due to his drinking and out of control behavior, but as soon as he changed and became "the old Luke" as Brooke described I grew on him. Luke's gestures to win Brooke were romantic, one of my favorite scenes is when he brings her a box filled with mementos from their school days. With Brooke, at times I was screaming at the book for her to listen to her friends and give Luke a chance. But once I learned about how hurt she was by her dad cheating on her mom, I understood why she was hesitant to take a chance on Luke.

I loved how the author lightened the mood by including humor. One of my favorite scenes is when Luke takes one of his Toujour dates to a football game,which ends with him getting doused in beer. The author does a good job of tying everything up at the end, some of the scenes will melt your heart and may make you cry.

I'm looking forward to reading more from the author, and hopefully there will be more stories with Brooke and Luke.
